ASILE Project will host a virtual academic conference “Unpacking EU Asylum Policy in light of The UN Global Compact on Refugees: The Impacts of Containment on Trust and Refugee Protection“, with Odysseus Member for Denmark Jens Vedsted-Hansen, and Odysseus Member for Turkey Meltem İneli Ciğer. The virtual conference will assess the recent EU Asylum and Policy developments and their impact on the UN Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) guiding principles. The event is part of the Conference on the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the Office of the UNHCR “70 Years Protecting People Forced to Flee“.
