The Centre for Migration Law at Radboud University organizes a Workshop on Expulsion on the 16th of June 2017

This workshop will explore the legal practice of expelling EU citizens from a host EU state in light of EU law and fundamental rights standards. It will focus on how EU law frames the possibility to expel EU citizens and the types of limitations that are placed upon national states when trying to make use of expulsion to deal with criminal or poor EU citizens. This workshop is part of an ongoing project looking into expulsion practices in the EU that seeks to advance our knowledge of state practices and their impact upon the notion of EU citizenship as fundamental status.
