European Meeting on Lesbos island about EU migration policy at frontiers

Odysseus Cypriot Member Nicos Trimikliniotis (University of Nicosia) has been invited to speak at the European Meeting will take place on 6 & 7 October 2018 in Mytilene, Lesvos, in collaboration with the local organizations of the island, Hias Greece, Lesbos Legal Centre and Lesbos Solidarity-exPikpa, and with the participation of European organizations and forums, such as ‘Last Rights’, ‘Foundation on Missing Migrants’, ‘PRO ASYL’, as well as the Italian forum of organisations ‘Per cambiare l’ordine delle cose’ (Pour changer l’ ordre des choses/ PCLDC).

Indicatively, the programme of the Conference will consist of two Parts; the 1st day, the Colloquium, when the participants will develop their views on the topic of their experience in the context of the pluralism of ideas, and the 2nd day, the in-situ visits to hotspots.
