EU Policy Responses to the Migration and Refugee Crisis: The Refugee Relocation Scheme

Brief description:

The aim of this PhD research project is to investigate the political preferences, negotiations and voting leading to, and following the introduction of, Council Decisions (EU) 2015/1523 and 2015/1601 - otherwise known as ‘Refugee Relocation Decisions - , including an analysis of the actors and factors involved in the formulation of the two Council Decisions since the early origins of the Refugee Relocation Scheme.
