Our Member, Dr Tamás Molnár, Project Officer at Justice, Digital and Migration Unit of the Fundamental Rights Agency, has recently published an article: “ The European Union, ‘Expulsion of aliens’ and the Return Directive: a repressive or protective framework?“ in Griffith Law Review.
The Article questions whether the current Return Directive emphasises a repressive approach or can be framed as a “directive of protection” charting for the first time minimum standards to safeguard the fundamental rights of returnees.
