About the Conference

Access the Conference programme here

Bringing together legal and policy experts on asylum and migration from across Europe, the overarching theme of this year’s conference was “Conflict and Compromise between Law and Politics in EU Migration and Asylum Policies” as 2017 has been marked by several rulings of the Court of Justice in extremely sensitive cases.

A series of six workshops gave the opportunity to discuss complex legal and policy issues with high level experts and policy makers from academia, EU institutions and agencies, international organisations, Member States and NGOs’ representatives.
