DOCTORAL SEMINAR WITH FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
A doctoral seminar is organised as part of the summer course. It offers a group of around ten doctoral students the opportunity to present their thesis project and to benefit from the advice of a panel made up of members of the Odysseus Network. This seminar is mainly aimed at doctoral students in law, but candidates in political science or international relations whose thesis includes legal aspects may be accepted with the agreement of the organisers. Sessions are normally held in English, but some can be organised in French on request.
Selected doctoral students must register for the summer course and pay the registration fee for doctoral students. They will follow the entire programme like any participant in the summer course, in addition to the doctoral seminar of around 10 hours. To complete your application, please consult our doctoral seminar flyer by clicking here.
Four scholarships are available for doctoral students selected on the basis of their academic merits and financial situation. They cover the registration fee for the summer school (with the exception of the €350 subscription fee) as well as travel and accommodation expenses. Winners will be expected to contribute actively to the coordination of the English and French groups at the summer school.
To apply for the seminar and doctoral scholarships, please register as normal for the course and carefully complete the doctoral catalogue available on the Odysseus website.
The deadline for applications is 1 May 2025.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
