Our Odysseus member Philippe De Bruycker (Université libre de Bruxelles), Professor of EU Migration Law, will participate in a cine-debate organised by Amnesty International ULB and the Bureau des Étudiants de la Faculté de Philosophie et de Sciences Sociales (BEPSS) on Wednesday 8 April 2026 at 18:30 at ULB (room K.3.201).
The event will feature a screening of the film L’Histoire de Souleymane, followed by a discussion on migrants’ rights and the legal and social challenges they face. The debate will address key issues such as the distinction between migrants and asylum seekers, current legal obstacles, and recent developments in European migration policy.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with experts and reflect on contemporary migration dynamics in Europe.
