Our member, Dr Tamás Molnár, senior legal researcher at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (Vienna) and an affiliated researcher at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, Institute for Law and Governance, has published a new blog post on EJIL:Talk! – Blog of the European Journal of International Law.
The piece, titled “Frontex’s Responsibility for Human Rights Violations: The CJEU and Certain Aspects of the International Responsibility of International Organisations” provides insights into how two recent Grand Chamber cases by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) regarding Frontex’s responsibility for human rights violations in cooperative migration management scenarios can clarify the broader accountability of international organizations for such violations.
