Open Research Position – Integration processes for the promotion of social inclusion of people of foreign origin

In the framework of a big three-year project involving the 4 main universities in Milan together with institutional bodies, Pr. Alessia Di Pascale is looking for a research associate.

The research programme is entitled “Integration processes for the promotion of social inclusion of people of foreign origin”. The project envisages the identification and development of a series of activities to increase the participation of foreigners in social, economic and public life, through a specific focus on the local level, as a field of experimentation to test existing policies and design innovative ones, and on the inclusion of young people and women with a migrant background.

The call is open to EU and non-EU nationals, provided they have a PhD, a good knowledge of Italian and an excellent knowledge of English (Arabic is not required, but would be a much appreciated asset).

The three-year research activity will be both theoretical and empirical with a significant part of fieldwork (and we would appreciate someone with experience in experimental research/sociology of law background).
