Study on the Reform of Dublin III by Swiss Member of Odysseus Network

The Swiss Member of the Odysseus Network, Dr. Francesco Maiani, has written a study on “The Reform of the Dublin III Regulation” for the LIBE Committee (Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs).

The study examines the performance of Dublin and relocation schemes, and assesses the Commission’s “Dublin IV” Proposal. It argues that Dublin IV is unlikely to achieve its objectives and instead advocates for refocusing responsibility allocation mechanisms on the quick access to asylum procedures.
